Lettie G. Howard sails from Dobbins Landing near the Bicentennial Tower, at the foot of State Street in Erie, PA.

Boarding Location

What to expect
We will check everyone in 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the sail and then board everyone.
The Captain or Chief Mate will give a short introduction before maneuvering off the dock and heading into Presque Isle Bay. You are welcome to help the crew set some of the larger sails or may sit back, relax, and enjoy sailing, though we highly encourage participation.
You’ll meet the crew, learn about Lettie G. Howard’s unique history, and experience Erie from the water by sailing in its natural harbor, Presque Isle Bay.
Day Sails are typically 1 1/2 hours long while sunset sails run for 2 hours.
This is a general plan for a sail, however, please know that sailing plans are subject to change. Exact sailing route and sail plan is at the Captain’s discretion and dependent on wind and weather conditions.
